Convergence in ideas Feb 25 2020

While doing research for a post about solar powered space craft, I found a patent for a proposed mechanism for concentrating sunlight onto solar panels for space craft, unsurprising on its own, what was interesting was that the design was similar to what I proposed for a hybrid PDRC PV rooftop installation. its an interesting reminder on the convergence of ideas, where both parties wanted to increase power output of photovoltaics, but wanted to do so for different reasons, in their case pure power, in my case also providing the ability to augment cooling.
